Unit 3 is a course for Early Intermediates, or students with good knowledge of basic fiddle skills and are ready for more challenging techniques, embellishments and pieces of music. Each lesson features sheet music and diagrams to be printed off as well as a stunning professionally recorded HD video using multiple cameras to enable the best possible angles with clear views of both the finger-board and bow hand.

Lesson 1 – The Cut & The Strathspey! Exercises introducing the Scottish 'cut' or 'burrell'; learning strathspeys.

Lesson 2 – The Roll! Introducing the Irish Roll and incorporating it into jigs.

Lesson 3 – Ready for Reels! Reels and new finger positions.

Lesson 4 – The Hornpipe! Pieces of music incorporating new techniques and finger positions.

Lesson 5 - Milestone! The Miss Lyall set of strathspeys and reels!
