Unit 2 is a course for Advanced Beginners, or students with some knowledge of the fiddle and reading simple tunes. Each lesson features sheet music and diagrams to be printed off as well as a stunning professionally recorded HD video using multiple cameras to enable the best possible angles with clear views of both the finger-board and bow hand.

Lesson 1 – Slurs & 6/8 time! Exercise playing two notes together on one bow stroke; introducing 6/8 time - jig rhythm!

Lesson 2 – Jigs! Discussion on the format of traditional music; learning Jigs.

Lesson 3 – A Little Theory! Music theory lesson; new finger positions; 2-octave scales.

Lesson 4 – More Jigs! Pieces of music incorporating new techniques and finger positions.

Lesson 5 - Milestone! Introducing the March; milestone piece of music.
